A Pathway to Thrive

In partnership with the University of Strathclyde Bahrain, the Thrive Awards offer partial sponsorships to Bahraini students who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong record of extra-curricular achievement, leadership, and community engagement.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be Bahraini nationals

  • Have a high school CGPA of 85% or higher (or equivalent)

  • Hold an offer for undergraduate study at the University of Strathclyde Bahrain (September 2025 intake)

  • Fulfill all academic and other conditions outlined in their university offer letter before enrollment

Selection Criteria

Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate:

  • Academic excellence (minimum 85% GPA or equivalent)

  • Active involvement in extracurricular activities

Notable achievements in areas such as:

  • Arts, sports, science, or technology

  • Volunteer work or community service

  • Leadership roles in school or other organizations

Sponsorships are awarded competitively based on academic merit and the presentation of a well-rounded candidate profile.
