Um Nasser Finland Preschool is a purpose-built early childhood learning environment in West Riffa, developed to introduce Finland\u2019s internationally recognized education model to Bahrain. The project reflects a national commitment to high-quality early learning, with an emphasis on design, pedagogy, and long-term developmental impact.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The built environment reinforces the preschool\u2019s approach through flexible classrooms, structured activity zones, and outdoor spaces that serve as active components of the learning experience\u2014supporting autonomy, creativity, and consistent, high-quality delivery at scale.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A Distinctive Educational Model<\/h5>\n

The preschool follows a play-based, child-centered approach rooted in Finnish pedagogy\u2014valued globally for its emphasis on well-being, independence, and inquiry-led learning. Operated by EduCluster Finland<\/a>, part of the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 Group, the model is thoughtfully adapted to reflect Bahrain\u2019s cultural context. A collaborative team of Finnish and Bahraini educators ensures the approach is both internationally grounded and locally relevant.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Partnership with EduCluster Finland<\/h5>\n

This project is the result of a partnership between S Eleven Educational and EduCluster Finland, formalized in 2024.
